Virgin’s Silica Sands production comes from our mine in Suriname, South America
About our Company & Team.
Based in Ontario, Canada, our team manages all sales and customer support for both domestic and international markets across North America. We handle orders ranging from single bags to large custom and bulk orders, including re-branding and white-labelling solutions. We are currently expanding our Canadian operation into a new 6,000-sq-foot warehouse in Ontario, which will serve as our central facility for packaging, storage, and distribution throughout Canada.
Sustainable mining practices are used to extract the silica sand, followed by full land reclamation upon completion of extraction.
Silica sand is mined in our mine located in Suriname. The Silica Sand is transported from our mine to a centralized processing facility, where it is thoroughly cleaned, washed, and screened into multiple size grades. These grades are used for various industrial and manufacturing applications. Once processed, the bulk Silica Sand is shipped to our Canadian facility, where it is sold in bulk or packaged into different bag sizes to meet specific customer and market demands and requirements
